The Editorial Board invites you to join us in celebrating the launch of our second volume of Theory, Research, and Action in Urban Education. On Wednesday, December 4th at 6:30pm we will be gathering in the Urban Education lounge (room 4202) for food, drink, and a sneak peak at Volume II, Issue 1.

This issue is dedicated to the memory of Jean Anyon, who was a dear friend and mentor to us. Her vision of an activist journal for and by doctoral students is the foundation of TRAUE. The upcoming issue honors her with remembrances from students and colleagues, as well as pieces authored by her former students and inspired by her radical ideas about educational policy. She is very much missed at TRAUE.
